Resource Mobilization :

The assistance given by the Department of Youth Affairs and 'Sports, being one time assistance, will be more in the nature of catalyst of motivate the youth club members to undertake the job of building the Centre. It is expected that Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangalhan would also contribute from their internal resources. Broadly, the resource mobilization by different agencies would be as follows :
Youth Club:
Youth Club would contribute the building, electricity and drinking water supply and basic furniture

NYKS:
From its internal resources will try to finance the purchase of the following

a) Sports Equipments
b) Equipments for Cultural activities
c) Vocational Training Equipments
d) Information materials on developmental Schemes.
e) Books and Magazines.

Out of the assistance given by the Department the following items can be purchased.

a) Color TV NCP
b) Initial charges for telephone connection
c) Book carrying Bags.
d) Audio Video Cassettes
e) Almirahs, boxes for storage purposes.
f) Any other durable.

The Youth Development Centre should be run in such a way that over a period of time, it becomes functionally active and self sufficient. It is expected that such centers will explore possibilities to take assistance from other Government Departments of 'autonomous bodies (and implement their schemes). Similarly, the Centre is free to charge monthly subscription from persons or member youth clubs using facilities.

There is no objection if the telephone facilities are used as public telephone booth, for which charges should be made according to the regulations.The Centre with the prior approval of the Managing Committee (refer to Para 7), may allow to use the premises to hold exhibitions in which commercial transactions can be made.
