Derecognition

A Rural Information Technology Youth Development Centre can be derecognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, on the recommendations of Collector/NYKS District Advisory Committee on Youth Programmes or RITYDC Advisory Committee; if it fails to meet its objectives, on any of the following grounds :

• Involvement of Rural Information Technology Youth Development Centre in party politics, immoral practices, anti-social or anti-national activities (if reported in the visiting officer’s report or otherwise established).

• Failure to maintain proper records, accounts, reports and returns.

• Failure to conduct elections for Managing and Advisory Committee annually.

• Failure to provide access to RITYDC infrastructure and assets such as computer, Internet facility, T.V viewing, Sports equipments, Indoor Games and other recreational and recording/information material.
