Financial Assistance
Financial assistance
not exceeding Rs. 1,20,000/- (One Lakh
Twenty Thousand only) will be given for
each Rural Information Technology Youth
Development Centre. It will be a one-time
grant. However, to further strengthen
the newly established RITYDC, broad base
its activities and act as catalyst on
a continuum basis for the overall development
of rural youth in a district a recurring
grant to the tune of Rs. 5,000/- per annum
would be provided to the RITYDC for a
maximum period of four years, subject
to the satisfactory performance of the
RITYDC as assessed from time to time by
the Advisory Committee and designated
inspection officers. The initial grant-in-aid
could be utilized for the purchase of
following items :
